Introduced to celebrate the Centennial for Whitefish, Montana, this train poster is one of four in a series of art capturing themes of historical significance for the Northwestern town. Captioned "Great Northern's mighty Class S-2 Number 2586 westbound from Whitefish Depot, circa 1939," the piece captures the enormous engine in its beautiful Glacier National Park color scheme, steam pumping, with The Great Northern Peak in the background. A true tribute to the railroad's history.
A portion of the sale of this series is contributed to Stumptown Historical Society.
